Day 1
2014-10-01
France is a country of art. Many of the representative works of Impressionist school show the French scenery. Let's embark on the journey and walk on the road where Monet, Van Gogh, Cezanne and Matisse once strolled. We are intoxicated with the countryside and ancient town of France and taste the artistic conception of Impressionism.
When the plane arrived in Paris, it was already local afternoon. Just arranged to go to the Eiffel Tower to see the sunset. It should be noted that climbing the tower takes a long time, so we must reserve enough time (about an hour). The setting sun in Paris in early October is around 19:00. The price of climbing the tower is 9 euros to the middle platform and 15 euros to the top.

Day 2
2014-10-02
The theme of the trip is Impressionism. If you want to see Impressionism, you must go to the Museum of Orsay. Since it's not the first time we've been to Paris, we only arranged this day's itinerary in Paris, mainly to the Museum of Olympiad. If you come to Paris for the first time, you will not be able to see it for a week. There are too many scenic spots in Paris.
In addition to the well-known major scenic spots, Shenma Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees are all floating clouds. I would like to recommend a very good museum, which is the branley wharf Museum designed by architect Jean Nouvel, right next to the Eiffel Tower. The garden design of the museum is very impressionistic. The vertical greening along the street facade of the museum is also a good attraction. The most unforgettable thing is the coffee shop of this museum. It's so pleasant to have lunch with the iron tower. Recommend his family's hamburger set meal. The hamburger is huge and has a lot of meat. Two people will eat one, and it will last. In Paris, where prices are high, this restaurant is affordable, and there are also grannies who live nearby. Museum ticket price is 9 euros. It's free to enter the garden. 20 per person for lunch
Branley pier Museum by Jean Nouvel
Branley pier museum cafe restaurant
Eat your fill and walk along the Seine from the branley pier museum to the Orsay Museum. Compared with Paris ten years ago, the landscape along the Seine River has changed a lot. You can stop and go, sit down and have a look at the scenery, even lie in the reeds, or play chess
Seine Riverside Landscape
Before I knew it, I arrived at the museum. The Muse é e, once known as "the most beautiful museum in Europe", is the most beautiful museum in Europe d’Orsay) It is located on the left bank of the Seine River in Paris, France, across the river from the Louvre. It is one of the three art treasures in Paris today, mainly collecting 19th and 20th century Impressionist paintings. Renoir's gallett mill ball, Van Gogh's self portrait, Monet's blue water lily and other works are the treasures of the town hall. The museum was rebuilt from the old railway station. We specially arranged to visit on Thursday, because it will be extended to 9 p.m. on Thursday, and usually it's only 6 p.m. Ticket price 8 +
Atrium of Orsay Museum
These are famous Impressionist paintings. You can't take photos of the works in the museum. You can take a sneak picture of the visiting atmosphere from a distance with your mobile phone.
After reading these original works, I think more of the scenery in the painting. Well, tomorrow is to visit Monet's hometown.
Day 3
2014-10-03
There is a train to Rouen from St. - Lazare railway station in Paris. If you go to the ticket office of the railway station, you can get a pamphlet about the return route to Giverny, including the timetable and ticket price of trains and buses. It's about 8:30, 10:30 and 12:30. We arranged to leave Paris with our luggage and go to live in Rouen. To get to Giverny Town, you need to get off at Vernon. After leaving the railway station, there is a special bus to Giverny about one or two hundred meters along the road in front of you. 14.3 one way by train Bus one-way 4? In order to better enjoy the pastoral scenery, we choose the bicycle. The rental station is just opposite the railway station, and the price is 12 euros / day. I think it's better to take a bike. I can stop whenever I want to take photos and go anywhere I want. As we arrived at Vernon station with our luggage, we had to check our luggage first. There is no official check-in at the station. You need to follow the bus stop and go on to the coffee shop at the corner. There's an old man in charge, 5 euros / piece.
Walking on the field path of Impressionism
In addition to Monet's former residence and courtyard, there is also an Impressionist Art Gallery in Giverny Town, which displays not only Monet's works. The old lady who sells tickets at the front desk of the art museum is very nice. She not only tells us how to buy the ticket more cost-effective, but also tells us that Monet's former residence and the garden have two doors. You can go through the alley next to the garden. If you take the back door, you don't have to wait in line. It's suggested to see the art museum first and then the garden, because the art museum closes at 5:30 and the garden closes at 6:00. And the light at noon is too strong, indoor activities are more appropriate. The ticket price for the Museum of art is 7 euros, the ticket price for Monet's former residence and garden is 9.5 euros, and the ticket price for a joint ticket is 13.5 euros
Impressionist Art Gallery Photos are not allowed indoors
Unexpectedly, Monet's garden is really big. Compared with the poor Van Gogh, Monet must have been very rich at that time.
Monet garden is famous for its water lily angle. Unfortunately, in October, there are few flowers.
You can still get a few with a long lens.
This is the boat in the picture of rowing.
Although there are not many water lilies, October is the season for chrysanthemums to bloom
Monet's house. There are many strange flowers and plants in the yard.
From Monet's former residence, the alley of the town is very quiet, and there are not many shops on the side of the road. An old man on the corner is painting. His painting is different from many painting stalls in tourist attractions, full of childish personal style.
Painters in Monet
At dusk, I come to Vernon railway station and wait for the train to Rouen. The railway station is no different from the ordinary rural stations in Europe. Unlike the tourist towns in China, it is not commercialized at all. It is peaceful and beautiful in the sunset.
Givini's train station
Vernon to Rouen, train ticket 11.6 $
The train arrived in Rouen in forty minutes, After checking in, it's dark. On this day, it's walking and cycling, and my stomach is already growling. This hotel in Rouen is very good. I'll introduce it to you later. The French young man at the front desk was very enthusiastic and recommended us the route for dinner and sightseeing. Then we took the map and went to the Marche he was referring to for food.
Top left Small oysters; Top right Baked snail with cream bottom left Normandy salad; Lower left Fried cheese in salad
Rouen belongs to the French Normandy region, of course, the point of Normandy style special meal. The first choice is the Normandy salad, which has the Normandy characteristic smoked duck breast, fried cheese is also very delicious, charred outside and tender inside. Xi dada said that we should eat more local seafood. Facing the sea in Northwest Normandy, oysters are very fresh and absolutely fresh. Squeeze some lemon juice and take a bite. It's so delicious! Then, how can there be no snails in the French food? The snails baked with cream have no shells. They are very big and delicious. Red wine 3.5 euro / cup oyster (6 pieces) 13 Euro Normandy salad Baked snail with cream 9.5 I found a 10% discount when I checked out After tax, we only saw a lot of people, so we went in to eat. It turns out that this restaurant is still a time-honored brand in 1912. And the waiter's sister is so beautiful. The price per capita is 23.4 euros. Rouen is the place where we have the best price performance along the way. So it is suggested to have French special food. Come to Rouen.
Caramel egg pudding Chocolate lava cake
His family also has traditional French dim sum, which is very classic. When we had dinner, we saw many people ordering it. When we couldn't eat it, we went to eat dim sum the next night. Super recommended chocolate lava cake, delicious beyond description, a sweep of the day tired! Another Caramel egg pudding, I don't know what it's called in French, so I drew one for the waiter. It's right to serve it. These two kinds are almost a must at every table.
Rouen restaurant Street Recommend the second one on the right. It's very cost-effective.
I haven't told you the name of the restaurant after a long time. Look at the picture above, it's just south of Joan of arc church, the second one on the right. It's le Maupassant。 Don't go to the window flower planting house. It's said that the window flower planting house is the earliest Inn and restaurant in Rouen. We saw the price list, which is very expensive. It's about twice as expensive as the one I went to. We only have one or two tables to eat at dinner time. The one I went to has to wait. It seems that foreigners are not big heads, and they also pay attention to material benefits.
Day 4
2014-10-04
The old town of Rouen is not big. There are only a few scenic spots. The front desk brother recommended us to go to Joan of arc Church in the morning. You can go to the morning market, and then walk all the way East. It is the most prosperous Pedestrian Commercial Street. You will pass by the big clock, and then you will go to Rouen Cathedral, which Monet has painted more than 30 times.
I've been to Europe many times, and I especially like to visit the morning markets in European cities. On the one hand, it's really a place where local residents live. On the other hand, it's especially important that fruits are cheaper than supermarkets. Ha ha. But Rouen's morning market is really different from other cities and has its own characteristics. Because the market is designed in combination with the church and Joan of arc square and monument. When we came to look for food the night before, we didn't feel that there would be a farmer's market in the building. We just felt that it was a part of the church, which was very quiet. When I came in the morning, I was totally shocked by the excitement. There are not only fruits and vegetables, bread and cheese, but also seafood. But come back in the evening, all the stalls are gone, especially clean, no fishy smell...
Joan of arc Church in Rouen And Morning market
Joan of arc church is a work of the 1970s. Its shape breaks through the tradition and its interior space is full of interest. It's the work of an unknown architect. But I like it very much.
From Joan of arc square to the west, walk along the pedestrian street. You can buy a little heart or drink coffee under the big clock. This is the third ancient European clock I saw after Prague and Berne. Its ranking is also as above, the most interesting one is Prague.
Rouen bell
Coffee under Rouen's clock
I was going to see the lighting show of Monet's famous painting in Rouen cathedral. Unfortunately, the activity ended last month. When we went, we were tearing down the stage. But the church itself is really beautiful, I feel more beautiful than Notre Dame. At the back of the Cathedral (East), there is a smaller church, snow-white. I prefer that church. The cathedral is like a man and a woman to her. The cathedral is magnificent and the chapel is beautiful.
Facade of Rouen Cathedral
Interior of Rouen Cathedral
Rouen Cathedral Shadow of flower window
Behind Rouen Cathedral In the alley to the East, you can see the snow-white church as beautiful as a fairy.
The main entrance of Rouen Cathedral faces west, and Monet has painted the church in the setting sun countless times. Because the rain came after me, I didn't see the pink church described by Monet, but it was very pleasant to have dinner in the restaurant on the south side of Rouen cathedral and listen to the church bells.
On the south side of the church is a small railway station. Behind the train is a pile of restaurants. There are a lot of people. We found the most popular restaurant with big elbows. It's the restaurant with yellow parasol in the picture. Sorry, I didn't remember the name of the restaurant. It's about in the middle. The signature dish is big elbow. Almost every table is eating. In addition, I ordered a fruit salad written in English, which was accompanied by rice, which made me so tired. In the end, there were many left, packed in my own lunch box and packed back to the hotel for dinner (the restaurant does not provide packing boxes). This restaurant wins by quantity. 20 per capita.
In the restaurant on the south side of Rouen Cathedral, you can't finish the big elbow set meal with potatoes. There is rice in the fruit salad.
At the end of Rouen's stop, I would like to solemnly recommend my hotel. At that time, it was in booking. It was close to the railway station in the old city, and it was cheap. I didn't expect it was particularly good. This is a two-star hotel converted from an old inn. There are also ancient fireplaces and simple wooden frames in the room. This fireplace can really burn. The next day we lived, it rained and it was a little cold. When we went back, we found that the fireplace had burned and the heating in the room was hot. As mentioned earlier, the little brother at the front desk of the hotel is very friendly. In addition, WiFi is also the best one for this journey. Although there is a charge, there is no limit to the number of devices for 2 euros, and the network speed is very fast. You can watch the video websites that can't be launched in China smoothly. By the way, the name of the hotel is hotel Morand It's in Morand street, behind the Ceramic Museum. It's about five minutes' walk from the railway station and about five minutes' walk from Joan of arc square.
The fireplace area of the hotel
hotel Morand's ancient revolving wooden stairs are too heavy for luggage. Because they are ancient buildings, there is no elevator.
Day 5
2014-10-05
The morning sunshine of Rouen
Take the train from Rouen to the next destination Avignon, you have to change at Paris first. Rouen went to Paris in St Lazar railway station, then take the subway to Lyon station in Paris and take TGV to Avignon. The best time to shop in Rouen, in the train ticketing center, bought the ticket, the service staff is very enthusiastic, English is good, can help you choose the right train number.
The train station in Rouen is too laggy.
When I get to Avignon TGV railway station, there are two railway stations in Avignon. TGV is far away from the old city. I need to take a bus to the central railway station. As a result, I have been waiting for a long time at the bus station. I have already passed the timetable and there is no bus. Later I realized that there was no bus on Sunday. In fact, it's written in the train number table. The above table is Monday to Friday, and the following table is Saturday.... Ah, not knowing French killed people. I quickly downloaded a French Dictionary app. Fortunately, I had a good personality. I met a couple of Chinese who came to the bus station to enter the city, so I carpooled and rented it. Take a taxi for about 19 to central railway station. The carpooling couple said that they went to the railway station just now, and there were trains from TGV to central railway station, but the time was not right.
Bus station outside Avignon TGV railway station, timetable. There is no car on Sunday.
Avignon is the center of Provence, leaving Rouen, came to Provence, bid farewell to Monet, began the journey of Van Gogh.
Avignon is actually my gateway to Impressionism, but in the end it became my favorite place in my field. There are not many scenic spots. If it's only a day's journey, you can only go to the Pope's palace and the broken bridge. If it's two days, you can go to the new town on the other side of the river. Although it's a new town, it's only for the religious Palace. It's actually an ancient castle. You can apply for Chinese interpreter at the gate of the Imperial Palace, free of charge.
The gate of the imperial palace is very imposing. It's like the castle where bad people live in fairy tales.
In a word, the imperial palace is big, big, big. The yard is also very large The rooms are also very large. Each room is the size of a medium-sized church.
I like the setting sun shining through the flower window.
On the roof of the imperial palace of Taoism, you can see the sun and the moon shining together.
Wait for the sun to set.
At the beginning of October, the sunset in Avignon is about 7:15. Unfortunately, the Imperial Palace closed at 7 o'clock. It was thrown out before the sunset. The platform on the right side of the temple gathers many people waiting for the sunset, but the view is a little low there. It is suggested to go to the top of the mountain to see the sunset. If I live for a long time, I can also visit the new city in the afternoon. I can see the sunset in the new city, which makes the old city and the palace golden. Unfortunately, I can only see the beautiful scenery from the postcard.
It's much cheaper to buy a joint ticket for the Imperial Palace and the broken bridge than to buy one separately. The broken bridge went the next morning. There is also a Chinese interpreter. But I think the broken bridge is the most beautiful in the setting sun. Joint ticket 13.5
The broken bridge in the morning. The rain is coming.
Avignon is the first choice for Provence cuisine. Avignon is one of the liveliest ancient towns in Provence. Other ancient towns are deserted after 8 p.m. and few restaurants are open. In another square to the south of jiaohuanggong square, there are many restaurants and bars. I asked a few of them for special dishes. Based on the principle of finding the place with the most people to eat, we found another local delicacy one by one. It's a one-star hotel with a restaurant on the first floor. It's on the northernmost side of the square and on the corner of the temple. It's called hotel Du Palais Des Papes. It's Provencal boeuf bourguignon Provence salad Rose wine Protein puff. The waitress is very nice and has a nice smile. When we say we want share, she always says sure and asks her to add tableware and bread( Later, when I went to a restaurant next to St. Remi's Cathedral, share charged an extra 5 yuan, so I had a good impression of Avignon.)
The one that looks like sesame cake is the goat cheese in Provence salad. It tastes very strong and has the feeling of goat egg. It must be made in duplicate.
Day 6
2014-10-06
To sweep Van Gogh's footprints in Provence, we must go to St. Remi. There was a monastery where Van Gogh lived. A lot of the work was done there. What's particularly worth it is that St. Remi is a very small town. You can really live in the countryside. If the weather is fine, you can see the starry sky in Van Gogh's eyes. There is no train to San Remi from Avignon. You need to take the bus to the east of central railway station. The first day we went to the station and got the bus number. According to the plan, take bus No.57 at 12:15 to St. Remi in about an hour, just in time for lunch. San Remy's lunch is not very good. Small place, few restaurants. It's better to eat in Avignon and then take a bus at more than 2 pm.
Get off the bus, continue to walk south, find the tourist information office, you can get the map. The information office is closed at noon and doesn't open until 2 o'clock. The monastery where Van Gogh lived is one kilometer south of the consultation office. If you want to stay, I suggest to find a hotel in the south of the town center. When I was booking a hotel, because Google was blocked in China, I couldn't find the location of the hotel. As a result, I ordered a hotel one kilometer north of the town. As a result, this day is a back and forth rampage... Hate blocking!
Olive grove at the gate of Van Gogh monastery
The courtyard of Van Gogh monastery
The fields of Van Gogh's Monastery
Small vegetable fields in Van Gogh's paintings
Van Gogh Abbey, 4.65 euros
In addition to Van Gogh, St. Remi is also famous for the Da Vinci Code, which is one of the shooting places of the film adapted from the novel. The town is simple and compact, with few tourists and very quiet. There are ruins of abandoned monasteries.
Behind this little house is an ancient site. Unfortunately, it was closed when we went. You can have a look through the circular arch and across the fence.
Most of the hotels outside St. Remi have yards. At night, you can look up at the starry sky on the couch. You know, Van Gogh's starry sky was painted in St. Remi.
Most of the hotels outside St. Remi have yards. At night, you can look up at the starry sky on the couch.
The night sky of St. Remi really has the feeling of Van Gogh
Leaving St. Remi, another ancient town frequented by Van Gogh is Arles, a more famous city than St. Remi. Take bus No.54 from St. Remi. There is a timetable on the bus platform. Of course, there is no bus on Sunday. Especially remind friends to pay attention.
Schedule of bus No.54 from St. rami to Arles.
Day 7
2014-10-07
Van Gogh Research Center, in Arles. Originally, the van Gogh center was in the courtyard of the garden of the van Gogh sanatorium. Now a new building has been built for the research center. The van Gogh garden is open to the first floor and the courtyard for free, and the second floor is a school.
Van Gogh center new building. You need to buy tickets to visit the exhibition hall, 9 euros. Only up to the souvenir shop on the second floor, free of charge.
Van Gogh sanatorium The garden and the Yellow arcade.
The coffee shop in Van Gogh sanatorium has a very good business.
I'll also take a tour here with famous paintings, famous scenery and a shadow.
Arles is really the city of Van Gogh, except for the painted sanatorium where Van Gogh lived. And the coffee shop in Van Gogh's painting. We asked for the address of the cafe at the tourist information office and went straight. It is found that there are not many people drinking coffee, and the price is not expensive, 3.5 euros / cup. The interior still retains the decoration of a hundred years ago, and the wooden stairs creak.
Van Gogh Cafe
Van Gogh Cafe Angle in painting
At the entrance of Van Gogh's Cafe, I saw a copy of Van Gogh's famous painting pasted inside. The color of Van Gogh's painting is still kept in the cafe.
Inside the cafe, from Van Gogh's paintings, we can see that there was a billiard table, but it is no longer there.
The traces of Van Gogh's paintings can be seen everywhere in the ancient city of Arles. The street park beside the city is also in Van Gogh's painting.
The street park in Van Gogh's painting. Just one little boy.
Look at the big tree. The little boy came here.
The ancient Roman cemetery on the outskirts of Arles is also the place where Van Gogh painted. Although it's suburban, it's less than one kilometer southeast from the tourist information office. The graveyard is covered with moss marks. There are no people. It's cold. Tickets for Roman cemeteries
Strange fruit falling from the tree on the coffin.
This is the angle of the Roman cemetery in Van Gogh's painting.
After visiting the garden of the van Gogh sanatorium, the van Gogh Research Center, the van Gogh coffee and the ancient Roman cemetery, you can also go to the van Gogh suspension bridge on the theme of Van Gogh's tourism, but the suspension bridge is a little far away, you need to take a bus or rent a bicycle. The relevant information can be obtained from the Arles tourist information office. In addition to Van Gogh related themes, there are many ancient Roman relics worth visiting in Arles. Some people say that it's better to buy a through ticket in Arles. In fact, it's not. I don't think it's necessary to go to some museums, such as the ancient Roman theater. Just look through the railings.
The Colosseum of Arles is said to be the most complete one in the world, which is better than the arena of Rome. The reason is that after the arena was abandoned, the residents lived in it and built houses to live in. This is what the postcard shows. This circle of walls and red roofed houses reminds me of the appearance of the city in the recent popular animated film "the attacking giant". Maybe the author of the cartoon was inspired by Arles.
The Colosseum was built by the residents. It looks like the giant of attack, isn't it.
Later, tourism was opened and residents were removed. Left a good Colosseum. This is my third Colosseum after Rome and Verona. It is said that there is another nearby NIM, which is not as good as Arles.
Through the railings, you can also see part of the interior of the Colosseum. I didn't buy a ticket.
Ancient Roman theater, do not buy tickets to see outside on the line.
There is also an ancient Roman bathhouse to see. It's not big, much smaller than Pompeii's. Arles can visit in almost half a day. If you don't go to the van Gogh suspension bridge, you can take a bus to the railway station in the afternoon and go to the surrounding ancient towns, such as Nim and tarasken. As we met a pair of Chinese friends at the tourist information office, who just drove over from NIM and said Nim was also looking at ancient Roman relics, we chose talascan, a small town with different styles. I like the grand castle by the talascan river very much. The church is also very beautiful. We also catch up with the residents to sing hymns in it.
Day 8
2014-10-08
Due to the concentration of the scenic spots in Arles, I had no time to visit the next day, so I took a bus to Marseilles early in the morning. Give Marseille more time. If you're still looking at Impressionism, you can get off the train at Marseille railway station and go straight to the left to find the tourist information center. You can get the train timetable to AIX there. There are many trains. Impressionist fans can visit Cezanne's former residence in AIX. It takes half a day to make a round trip. In Marseille, if it's convenient, you can live around the railway station and the port. If you want to live in a distinctive place, you can choose Marseille apartment designed by Le Corbusier. This epoch-making building is still an apartment now, and its three floors have been changed into a three-star hotel, called Le Corbusier Hotel. Go to the Tourist Information Office of the railway station, show them the pictures, and you can tell them how to leave immediately. It's very simple. Take the red line subway from the railway station to the stadium, then come out and change to the No.21 bus, and get off at Le Corbusier station. If you live here, it is recommended to buy a 24-hour bus card for Marseilles, 5 euros / card, which is more cost-effective. If you live near the railway station and the port, you don't need to buy a bus card. You can walk to all the scenic spots.
Marseille old port
I like the masts of the sailboats in Marseilles port most. It's like a picture of Impressionism I saw when I was a child. I can't remember the author of it. Later, I never found the picture I remember. Maybe the main idea of Impressionism is just impression, our inner feelings.
Dense masts in Impressionist paintings.
When you come to Marseilles, how can you avoid eating authentic Marseilles fish soup Bouillabaisse。 The simplest way is to eat a pot of fish soup, red, put cheese on the bread, and then pour hot fish soup, delicious. Luxury fish soup is not just soup cheese with bread, the main course is lobster, sea crab, prawns, a large basin of all kinds of fish... And then boil their soup, and then as mentioned above with cheese and bread. The important thing is that the prawns and crabs are very large, and the meat is too much. The salad dressing with pink garlic paste is very delicious. We found a more cost-effective restaurant in the middle of the North Bank of Laogang, probably in the City Hall Hotel de East of Ville. A super deluxe fish soup feast (for 2 people) is 79 euros, including 2 lobsters, 2 crabs, 6 prawns and 4 fish. Actually, it's enough for 4 people. It's the most expensive one in their family. We'll give it up and have this one. They also have a fish soup set meal with different contents ranging from 28 to 38, which is very affordable. This level of fish soup double feast (with lobster and crab), later came to nice, found to be 109 euros a set
Marseille fish soup La Bouillabaisse Luxury version
The evening of Marseille port is very beautiful. You can visit the museums at the east end of the north bank. If you don't have the hall, it's free.
At sunset, the young man sat on the bank, singing love songs and kissing in the setting sun. The intoxicated sky reddened the girl's face.
Day 9
2014-10-09
Nice is the last stop of our Impressionist tour. We mainly look at the works of Matisse, the contemporary master, and then feel the atmosphere of the blue coast.
Nice is such a famous international metropolis. The railway station is very small and old.
The scenic spots in nice old city and coastal areas are relatively concentrated, so you don't need to take a bus. Matisse art museum is on the mountain in the northeast. Turn right from the first intersection on the north side of nice masena square, turn left at T-junction, and take bus No.15, about 20 minutes to get to Matisse Art Museum.
The underground on the west side of Matisse Museum has been added with modern style.
Matisse museum is free of charge. No photos are allowed indoors. There are the original works of pen body line drawing that I copied when I was a child. I'm so excited. I feel that the original is slightly larger than the printed one. And some of Matisse's paper cuts. The garden nearby is also very beautiful. Many old people are playing shot put, dancing or basking in the sun.
On the way back on route 15, I passed the nice Museum of modern and contemporary art, so I got off to visit. The bus ticket is valid for 74 minutes. We still use this ticket to get to the city center after visiting.
Roof garden of nice Museum of Contemporary Art
The second floor platform of contemporary art museum is adjacent to nice theatre
The Museum of contemporary art is also free of charge. It is full of strange post-modern works of art. I like the roof garden of this art gallery.

Day 10
2014-10-10
Because it's an afternoon flight, there's still a morning to hang out in nice. Be sure to go to nice old town to catch up with the morning market, eat some local snacks, and then go to the top of the mountain to see the Bay scenery.
We live near the railway station, walk south from the hotel to the commercial pedestrian street, then turn left and go all the way east to Massena square, walk through the square fountain, walk down the steps and walk into the old city of nice.
The scene behind the fountain in marcena square. The original thin 1 cm water surface can also create a magical reflection.
There is an angel ice cream shop on the pedestrian street. I saw many people eating it the night before, more than Haagen Dazs. I really couldn't eat it at that time, so I came to eat it the next day. I thought it was two balls for the 4.6 Euro medium cup. As a result, the clerk asked me what kind of flavor I wanted after 2 spoonfuls. After 3 spoonfuls, he also asked me..... It turns out that the medium cup can have four flavors! It's a lot better than St. cool stone. What's more, the pistachio recommended by the shop assistant is delicious!
Angel ice cream, commercial pedestrian street west of Massena Plaza, south of Central Road
The market in the old city of nice is occupied by the outdoor parasols of restaurants in the afternoon and evening, and turns into morning market in the morning. Recommend a nice old town restaurant, where we had our first dinner. The 15 euro set meal includes a salad or soup, a main course (of course, Haihong, Haihong with French fries), a snack (chocolate mousse or egg pudding), and a 22 Euro set meal. There are so many in this family that they basically eat the 15 euro set meal. Next to a 16 Euro set meal, no one, next to the boss's face is green. His Haihong is really fresh.
The restaurant I recommend in nice old town. It's not open in the morning.
Let's get back to business and talk about nice morning market. Actually, I don't feel very good. It is no longer a place for local residents to buy vegetables, but a place for tourists. There are many specialties, souvenirs, spices, soap, of course, fruits and flowers. I don't recommend buying souvenirs here. It's very expensive. It's better to go to the airport and buy them directly. The quality can be guaranteed. The only local snack recommended in the morning market is this one. In a red shed car at the east end of the market, there are onion and olive pizzas and chickpea pancakes with postcards. Pizza 2 euro, pancakes 3 Euro. Although the taste is not flattering, but at least to taste, really salty.
Nice old town morning market, spice girl is really beautiful“ Sir, you can smell it if you don't buy it... "

From the morning market continue to the East, climb the castle hills, you can see the most beautiful landscape of nice. Castle Hill Park is free.
This is Impressionism, too?! Haha, I understand. Isn't this the morning market I just passed by?!
In early October, nice was still a tropical scene, with a bird's-eye view of the Bay in the castle hills.
Because it is not the peak season of summer tourism, there are not many people on the beach.
This French Impressionist trip, all the way to choose the train and bus, in addition to air tickets, 10 days trip per capita about 8100 yuan (including a daily local food, 2-star hotel average price of 90 euros per night, all the train bus tickets, supermarket snacks, fruits, souvenirs, etc.) due to the National Day, get the ticket is very expensive, round-trip 11000 yuan, So, including air tickets, the total is 19100 yuan. If you can buy discount tickets in the off-season, it will be cheaper.
