Huangshi village's mountains are magnificent and peculiar. Time flies. It's time for lunch! Since there is no restaurant in Zhangjiajie scenic area, our lunch was at Maojie hotel outside the main gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (round table group meal, 30 yuan per person, 11 people per table).

The first lunch was not bad. The guide said that in order to take care of us and adapt to the spicy food in Hunan, we specially arranged our first lunch not spicy! Compared with our northeast meat chicken, it's not a bit delicious! 　　　

After lunch, walk into the main gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park for the second time and go to the scenic spot: jinbianxi Grand Canyon. 　

Jinbianxi Canyon, located in the east of Zhangjiajie Forest Park, is named after jinbianyan. Surrounded by emerald peaks on both sides of the Strait, the stream flows around the peak and across the gorge, and goes down the Shiban trail. The best scenic spots are jinbianyan, Zicao lake, Qianli meeting, TIAOYU lake, etc., which is known as "the most beautiful grand canyon in the world".

It's easy to visit jinbianxi canyon. Just walk down the stream all the way. The scenery along the way is very beautiful, the air is humid, and there are many wild macaques on both sides of the road. From time to time, groups of macaques appear in the valley and woods. Some bold monkeys even come to our feet, which is very interesting. But the guide has warned us not to provoke them, otherwise we will get hurt! Nevertheless, from time to time, some tourists took out bread, biscuits and bananas for the monkeys to eat. Seeing this scene, the monkeys, who were just observing the state, quickly changed their faces and ran to the tourists who were taking out their bags. They grabbed the food thrown by the tourists at the first time, quickly pushed the bags away and ate the things inside...... When other monkeys saw the situation here, they all approached quickly. It seemed that there would be a "bloody battle" for food. The atmosphere was really frightening ~ ~ so the tourists just enjoyed a moment's almost zero distance contact with these lovely monkeys, and then hurried forward under the urging of the guide.

Monkey shot a little bit, but it's really interesting ~ ~ the beautiful scenery along the way also occupied a lot of memory in my mobile phone and camera...... Listening to the gurgling sound of the stream, breathing extra fresh air, that kind of feeling is wonderful!

The destination of this trip is shuirao Shimen scenic spot. Jinbian River, Suoxi River, Yuanyang River and Longwei River converge in this valley basin of less than 200 square meters. There are beautiful rocks, gurgling streams, luxuriant bamboos and trees, fragrant flowers and birds. There is an oasis with luxuriant grass between the stone walls of the peak. Several mountain streams cut out four mountain gates in the southeast and northwest, so it is called "water around the four gates".

Out of the gate of the scenic spot, the bus goes to the expert Village Hotel in Zhangjiajie. After checking in, the bus pulls the group members to the wushanshui village at the entrance of Xibu street for dinner. We ordered rock ear chicken soup pot, 169 yuan per pot, which tastes really good（ But later on the flight back to Zhangjiajie daily, I saw the promotion information of the hotel on the front page: 70% discount for dining in the hall! It's a pity that our consumption didn't discount at all on that day. Maybe it's good that the price of tourists from other places doesn't double

After dinner, the tour guide issued a free ticket to Xibu street. On the bus, the tour guide has told us that Xibu street is new and imitates the ancient city of Lijiang. People who have been to Lijiang ancient city will be disappointed. If they are not rich in time, it is not recommended to go. Walking into Xibu street, what we see is a big water truck imitating Lijiang. Although drizzle is falling, we still walk to the depth of Xibu street. There are few tourists on the street. The shopkeepers of every shop on the street are basically sitting outside the shop. Only when tourists enter the shop can they follow us. Gradually came to the end, only to find that there are a few bars quietly playing bleak music, few tourists. Gradually, it was getting dark. We turned around and walked all the way to the entrance of Xibu street. We found that many local aunts were dancing square dance. Square dance is really everywhere! However, perhaps only such a group of aunts can add some vitality to Xibu street.

Day 3 Tuesday, August 25 Zhangjiajie Scenic Area "yangjiajie cableway Tianzishan yuanjiajie Bailong TIANTI (downward) - Shili Gallery"

Yangjiajie scenic spot is located in the northwest of Zhangjiajie, adjacent to Tianzi mountain in the north. It is a new magical scenic spot after Zhangjiajie, SUOXIYU and Tianzi mountain in Wulingyuan scenic spot. Tianzi mountain has always been known as the "king of the peak forest". It was named after the Tujia leader who claimed to be the son of heaven to Wang (named Dakun) in history. The clouds and fog on Tianzi mountain after the rain are very spectacular. There was no noisy atmosphere at all.

The scenic spot to visit in the afternoon is yuanjiajie, which is located at the north foot of SHANDAOGOU. It is a huge and gentle mountain mainly composed of quartzite. It has not only small streams and silver waterfalls, but also bamboo forests and pines. Because of the abundant water and dense forest, the air is very fresh. When people walk in it, it's like walking into a huge landscape painting. As early as in the Ming Dynasty, someone wrote the sentence "people travel in the gorge, just like painting". At the end of Shili gallery is a so-called wild monkey garden, but in fact there are only three old monkeys. Compared with the wild monkeys we see on both sides of jinbianxi gorge, they are not very attractive. Fortunately, at the end stands the stone tablet of "Shili Gallery", which can be taken for everyone. There are also some pavilions nearby selling local specialties. We tasted a bowl of Pueraria lobata, 5 yuan per share. It tasted good, similar to jelly, with a layer of sweet osmanthus sugar sprinkled on it. Before I bought in Taobao pueraria powder out of the same paste, there is a Saturn flavor things completely different, I really do not know which is the right way.

When you come out of Shili Gallery, you need to queue up to take the bus down the mountain. This queuing experience is really enough to let me remember Zhangjiajie! There are so many people waiting in line!!!!!! Tens of thousands of people are crowded in the corridors surrounded by wooden railings. Under the high temperature of more than 30 degrees, the travelling people are carrying bags and crowded in the narrow and stuffy wooden railings. Under the wooden pavilions, the air is tight. People from all over the country copy different accents and keep on talking. With more and more people waiting in line, people who take family as their unit rush forward desperately. Occasionally, even people with low quality open the door of wooden fence and try to jump in line, which causes people's resentment. After the commotion, people are eager to see the direction of the bus......

Finally, I got on the bus, went down the mountain, got on our group bus and stayed in Zhangjiajie expert village hotel again. Before getting off the bus, the tour guide discussed with you that according to the rain forecast, the itinerary for tomorrow will be temporarily adjusted to the ancient city of Phoenix. Because you don't have to go to Tianmen Mountain, you don't have to get up early to queue up, so the departure time tomorrow is set at 7:20.

Day 4 Wednesday, August 26 Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain Fenghuang

After breakfast, I still haven't been able to sit on the bus. It was cloudy and even had a light rain, but the clouds dispersed and the fog opened, and the sun cleared up! Guide said: Zhangjiajie day, like a baby's face, said to change! Also, we are really lucky today! Zhangjiajie's climate, there are more than 200 days in a year are very heavy fog days, but today is really a good day to watch Tianmen Mountain! And just to the peer called, Tianmen Mountain visitors are not many! We can take advantage of the good weather to visit Tianmen Mountain!

But it's true that when I read the travel notes on Ctrip, the entrance of Tianmen Mountain is basically foggy. I believe the guide is telling the truth.

So, we decided to go to Tianmen Mountain with 32 tourists in a car!! Phoenix, you are waiting for us at night!

On the way, we watched Tianmen cave from far to near, waiting for Tongtian Avenue with 99 bends and 7500 meters long, 1300 meters high drop, the longest passenger ropeway in the world with a journey of more than 30 minutes! Looking at the big turns we took in the minibus again and again, we felt that the altitude was gradually rising, the deep under the cliffs on both sides and the cable cars on the top of the mountains. That kind of feeling really needs you to go to the scene to savor and think about it!! Tianmen cave, you are worthy of the "soul of Zhangjiajie"! Here we are!!

After getting off the minibus, we all have more than enough! Looking up at Tianmen cave and 999 steps, I really feel holy! Because the weather is very good, we clearly look at the Tianmen cave and the small waterfall on one side, Tianmen Mountain, you can really purify people's mind!

Perhaps, the people with better physical strength in the regiment want to further contact Tianmen cave, and also want to further accept purification and sublimation. They choose to walk and climb Tianmen cave at one go. Most of the group members chose to take the escalator to Tianmen cave. A total of 12 escalators are required to go to tianmendong. After lunch, we got on the bus to Fenghuang ancient city. After four hours of expressways, we went through the top of Xiangxi mountain and enjoyed the natural scenery of Xiangxi. Finally, at ten o'clock in the evening, we came to Fenghuang, the most beautiful ancient city in China.

Fenghuang ancient city is a famous historical and cultural city in China. It is the only way between Huaihua, Jishou and Tongren. It has beautiful scenery, long history and many places of interest. But it was very hard to bear. When I lay on the bed, a musty smell came out from the pillow and quilt. After a while, I felt as if I was sleeping in the water. I was wet all over. I finally got to sleep

Let's still say that the breakfast in this Fenghuang Fengting international hotel is the worst meal of this trip! Small restaurant, few kinds, poor sanitation! Especially in the bathroom outside the dining room, it's really horrible. Even in such a "tough" environment, I met a group of Chinese Americans. Their evaluation of this place is almost the same as ours! I really feel very humiliating ~ ~ I didn't expect that such a dirty and poor environment would be seen by the Chinese who have left the motherland for more than 20 years!! The government of the ancient city! It's such a poor service under such a beautiful ancient city. Should you strengthen the inspection and punishment! We Chinese people's face has been lost abroad like this!!! It's so sad

Today's first project: boating on the Tuojiang River

Xiong Xiling's former residence is located in an alley of beiwenxing street in Fenghuang ancient city. 200 meters to the East is the beautiful Tuojiang River, covering a total area of 800 square meters. It is a quadrangle courtyard, a southern ancient style wooden tile structure. It is relatively small but very exquisite, and is a typical ancient architectural form of Miao nationality.

The Tuojiang River originates from the Yunnan Guizhou Plateau and flows around the Phoenix. Former residence of Shen Congwen

Shen Congwen was born in a typical southern quadrangle in Zhongying street of Fenghuang ancient city. Siheyuan is a brick enclosed bungalow building, which was built in the fifth year of Tongzhi reign of Qing Dynasty. The ancestral hall is located between the East Gate Tower and the North Gate Tower in the ancient town of Tuojiang, and at the entrance of shijianong in the North Street. It covers an area of 770 square meters. The ancestral hall was built in 1836 by the crown prince Taifu and Yang Fang, the Marquis of Guoyong, and the Yang family was originally a famous family. The scale of the ancestral hall was no less than that of the ordinary temple.

East Gate Tower

The East Gate Tower is located in the east of Fenghuang ancient city, facing Dongling and close to Tuojiang River. It is simple and elegant, formerly known as "shenghengmen". It is one of the four gates of Fenghuang ancient city. Not far away, the North Gate Tower and the South Gate Tower (nanhuamen) once defended this beautiful landscape town.

Longevity Palace

Phoenix Longevity Palace, also known as Jiangxi guild hall, is located in Shawan outside the beautiful East Gate of Phoenix. It faces the Tuojiang River, backs the Qinglong mountain, and faces the ancient Hongqiao bridge 100 meters away. The three doors are facing the arch bridge and three holes, implying that financial resources are flowing into the Longevity Palace like rivers. The Longevity Palace is a large-scale building community with exquisite and unique design and exquisite carving.

Fenghuang Ancient City Museum

The ancient city museum used to be the 100 year old house of Chen Baozhen's family, covering an area of more than 1600 square meters. The site of the museum is a part of Daotai Yamen in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, and it is also the place where Chen Baozhen's three generations once lived. Now it is a cultural carrier integrating the ancient city museum and Chen Baozhen family.

Chongde Hall

Located in zhongshijianong street of Fenghuang ancient city, Chongde hall was built in 1884 by Pei Shoulu, the richest man in the area. Its architectural rules are elegant, and it is a typical southern quadrangle with all wood structure. It has a history of 100 years, with a total area of 622 square meters. It is mainly divided into upper and lower floors. The second floor is not open to the public. The first floor is composed of a stone sculpture exhibition hall, two wood sculpture exhibition halls, a reception hall in the middle, a restaurant in the rear and a back garden.

Finally, go back to the place where we took the night scene last night: Hongqiao wind rain building

Hongqiao, formerly known as wohongqiao, lies across the Tuojiang River, crisscrossed with the ethnic street. Standing on the second floor of the bridge, you can enjoy the picturesque scenery on both sides of the Tuojiang River. It is one of the best places for viewing and photographing in Fenghuang ancient town.

After lunch, I went back to Zhangjiajie from Fenghuang. It rained on the way back. Stay in Zhangjiajie Tongda international hotel again in the drizzle. That is the hotel we stayed in on the first day. Although this hotel is located in the suburb of Zhangjiajie, it is close to the airport, convenient transportation and good.

On the whole, the weather of the trip was quite good. Mood is mostly shock and surprise, although there are some unpleasant memories, but the beauty of Zhangjiajie is enough to offset these deficiencies.

Day 6 return to warm home

Before traveling, I read some travel notes about Zhangjiajie, but in fact, the travel notes about Zhangjiajie are far less than Jiuzhaigou, Lijiang and other famous scenic spots in the south. So I want to do my best to write this travel notes, so as to facilitate you and make you know more about Zhangjiajie.
